A hotel that already knew what it wanted to say

Aurelio came to us with twelve rooms, a courtyard full of citrus trees, and a strong point of view about hospitality — service that doesn’t announce itself. The brief was simple: build an identity and a website with the same quality of restraint as the building itself.

Typography as the whole system

Rather than lean on illustration or heavy branding devices, we built the identity almost entirely from typography and space. A single serif carries the wordmark, paired with a grotesque for booking flows and everyday communication. The website mirrors the pacing of a stay: slow, image-led, unhurried.

Since launch, direct bookings have overtaken third-party platforms for the first time in the hotel’s history — proof that a considered digital presence can do real commercial work.
